Treatment and Staff In addition to its residential/inpatient program, Sunspire Health Texas offers onsite medical detox (when necessary), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Each patient receives individualized treatment based on his or her specific needs for recovery. Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, CBT, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and adventure therapy. Alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, and art therapy are also offered. The facility has a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care he or she deserves. Extras Internet Addiction Support: For many patients, a co-occurring addiction to internet in the form of social media, shopping, gambling, online infidelity, pornography, or an addiction to electronic devices (cell phones) in general will manifest during treatment for a substance use disorder. There are two hours of worship on Sunday and Bible study is offered two nights a week, but the pastoral counselor will also offer non-denominational spiritual groups. Sexual Trauma/Sex Addiction: With a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist on staff, Sunspire Health Texas is able to address a history of sexual trauma or sex addiction that may be an underlying cause of a substance use disorder. Executive/Professional Recovery: Sunspire Health Texas is able to cater to the needs of executives, professionals, and business owners in treatment who may need to check work emails and attend meetings during treatment in order to stay on top of work obligations.
