Banyan Treatment Center is a multi-disciplinary treatment facility located in Chicago’s Main Street Promenade. We heal patients’ substance abuse challenges from the inside out and evaluate them for co-occurring disorders. We practice compassion in connecting with patients, welcoming patients from all walks of life, encouraging our patients to grow spiritually, and reducing any feelings of hopelessness or despair while suffering addictions. Our caring staff includes qualified staff members who have overcome addiction, along with licensed therapists, doctors, and nurses.We offer detox for alcohol, heroin, and opiates, as well as methadone and prescription pills with guided care to ensure less painful withdrawal symptoms. Our inpatient care allows us to offer patients on campus support and connection throughout their healing process. Our intensive outpatient programs provide patients effective therapy for lesser amounts of time each day.Outpatient programs, more relaxed than intensive outpatient programs, span for 90 minutes 5 days a week and occur in a professional setting. Our levels of care also include mental health programs, treating conditions like schizophrenia and other co-occurring conditions which may exist. Our stabilization program also assists patients who relapse.We integrate holistic therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, 12-Step based healing models, empowerment counseling, solution-based counseling, and rational emotive behavioral therapy. Banyan provides faith-based healing methods for Christian patients, keeping a Christ-centered focus in recovery. Our Christ-centered healing modalities include daily devotionals, biblical counseling, Bible studies, prayer and meditation meetings, and access to local church services. Our alumni program ensures the connection of peer groups after treatment.
