The goal of College Recovery is to help our clients begin to live their best possible lives without the use of drugs. We look at the big picture and help our clients begin working toward long term  Our therapeutic community and sober-living facilities are located a few blocks  away from Rutgers University. We are focused on helping our clients achieve academic success, whether they are already enrolled in a university, considering college, or trying to be readmitted. SOBA College Recovery has individualized treatment plans. Our psychiatric and therapeutic staff look for the best possible treatment for each client. At SOBA College Recovery we are aware that there is no one size fits all treatment model. Our Clinical staff seeks the best possible way to help each individual client find their own path to long term recovery. The housing staff at Soba College Recovery is comprised of individuals in long term recovery. Some of our staff members are also alumni of the program who work part-time as client liaisons because they wanted to give back to the program, while continuing to pursue their academic goals. We believe in peer to peer mentoring, because studies have shown that it is effective for people new to recovery to be around individuals in in long term recovery. Our clients have gym memberships to Robert Wood Johnson Fitness Center and go on numerous exciting weekend activities. In addition to having education counseling/tutoring on site we also have a yoga instructor, and a personal trainer. We aren’t just interested in our clients mental and emotional wellbeing, but in all aspects of their overall recovery.
